The Holistic Approach
Within a holistic treatment, the therapist takes into account a person's complete being, not just the physical symptons or problems but psychology, environment and nutrition and the effects, both positive and negative, that these can have on the body as a whole.
A holistic approach is important because it treats each person individually and in the context of their own life style.
This enables an individual to improve their own health and take control over their life and re-establishing the body's equilibrium, known as homeostasis.
Parts of the body massaged: face, head, neck, shoulders, back, gluteus, chest, abdomen, arms, hands, legs and feet (if time allowing). You can choose to concentrate on some parts of your body or avoid some of them. It is up to you!
